We now have plane reservations!! We are going a totally different route than we first expected. We leave from C-bus and go to Detroit....from there we fly overnight to Amsterdam, then on to Almaty, Kazakhstan where we have almost an entire day layover before the last leg of the journey, 2 hour flight to Karaganda. Now is it suppose to feel more real?? Maybe I need to see the actual plane. In Jim's discussion with the travel agent, she said our visas are ready, so that is good news too! Jim has worked so very hard to get this all figured out...especially when I would get so overwhelmed and could not deal with it, so I know he is glad to have this part taken care of. Next week we have our "phone meeting" with one of the agency's directors.
